PRODUCT INTRODUCE
The cutting structure of a three cone drill bit consists of three cones, each with teeth of different shapes and arrangements. According to the hardness and characteristics of the geological strata, teeth can be divided into two types: milling teeth (steel teeth) and inlaid teeth. Milling teeth are usually processed from high-strength alloy steel, and the tooth shape is mostly wedge-shaped or conical, suitable for medium hard formations.
During the drilling process, milling teeth break the rock through cutting action, which has the advantages of relatively low cost and maintaining a high mechanical drilling speed in medium hard formations. Inlaid teeth are hard alloy teeth embedded on the roller base. Hard alloy teeth have extremely high hardness and wear resistance, making them particularly suitable for use in hard formations such as granite, quartz sandstone, etc. The design of the inlaid teeth can effectively resist the grinding of rocks, extend the service life of the drill bit, and ensure stable and efficient operation under harsh geological conditions.
In addition, the surface of the roller cone is also equipped with retaining teeth to maintain the diameter of the borehole, prevent the aperture from shrinking during drilling, and ensure the quality and accuracy of the borehole.
